Jodrell Bank Looking at the Stars - Framed picture
The Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank is one of our favourite places. A monument to the stars and a gorgeous piece of technological architecture. It's also now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
We've been working with this design for a little while now, and as we have evolved our techniques and developed new ways of displaying the pictures, we felt it was time to update the piece.
The design is cut into a 2mm thick white card, mounted onto a black backing board. The individual stars are only 1cm diameter, and have been individually cut and placed on the picture. The end result is amazing. It truly looks like the telescope is looking into the stars.
The picture is mounted in a black box frame, made from recycled plastic. It has a really classy finish and will look great on any wall.
The frame is 405x305x35mm and weighs around 900g.
